Dr. Velma Childers: Reaching the world through ministry for over 40 years!

Proudly taking the message of The Savior to the world for over 40 years.

I am living fruit of the Lord's ministry through V.C.E.A.! Velma is my mother in the Lord! During one of her crusades in September, 1993, I was called into ministry and now Pastor Harvest Fellowship Church in Leedey, Oklahoma.

Velma is a wonderful woman of God! She walks with integrity toward the Kingdom, and I highly recommend this ministry to others! As a Pastor, what I like about Velma is that she willingly ministers to God's people—churches small or large—with no demands or strings attached. While some ministries demand set fees or offerings before they will “minister,” V.C.E.A. is truly faith-based and truly lives the heart-cry, "Here I am Lord, send me!" When Velma comes to our church, she always ministers a "right now" word from God and touches people with a personal message. What a breath of fresh air she is, bringing the glad tidings of our Lord! She is a true evangelist! I love you, Velma!

Text Box: WORD FOR TODAY: The storms of life do come, but we must not continually stay in the storm, or we become exhausted from our labors. Many times I have been caught in the dark rolling waves, working and toiling, praying frantically that I will not sink. Alone, and frightened, I begin to look outside the boat of faith and question, “Where are my twelve helpers, as Jesus had? Do I have twelve who will comfort and help me through the storm?” Thoughts of panic and doubt begin to overwhelm me! Why? Because, you see, I am looking outside the boat, instead of inside the boat, where Christ dwells (within me...and YOU). Here, in these desperate times, when faith is stretched, even to the limit. The weather of life WILL become calmer. Notice I did not say all problems and cares will disappear, however. And the storm, why did it come so severely? When my eyes and heart shift onto Him and off my twelve lost helpers; my faith can be stretched and enlarged by His visit. He also continues to teach me that some of the things I have brought into my boat would be best thrown overboard...and there goes my fear! Matthew 14:24—27

You told me "everyone" can hear God speak to their heart, and I told you I have never heard Him. I finally heard Him! It was incredible. The Lord spoke to me as I was reading my Bible. A verse jumped out at me. I read it and wondered if this is why my business has been so slow the past six weeks? Deuteronomy 25:13-16 (New International Reader's Version) reads: Don't have two different scales. You must not have one that weighs things heavier than they really are and another that weighs them lighter than they are. And don't have two different sets of measures. You must not have one set that measures things larger than they really are and another that measures them smaller than they are. You must use weights and measures that are honest and exact. Then you will live a long time in the land the Lord your God is giving you. He hates anyone who cheats. Right after I read it I KNEW exactly what the Lord was referring to. I did not intentionally cheat anyone; yet, I had charged a customer the fair market value of a part that I had in my inventory that cost me two-thirds less one year prior. The work was done and billed out six weeks ago, about the same time my business slowed down. I tithed, I attended church faithfully, I read my Bible daily, I did everything I thought would please the Lord. When I read Deuteronomy 25:13-16 the light went on in my head and I knew what He was trying to tell me, and I knew exactly what he was referring to! Immediately, I asked for forgiveness. He spoke to my heart and told me to make restitution. I did, and as soon I had done that my phone starting ringing with work! Since then I have closed 2 annual contracts, picked up more work, and my schedule is filling fast! God forgave me and allowed my business to flourish again. Thank you for your blessings and prophesy!

We just wanted to let you know once again what a great blessing it was to have you at our church in Monroe County, Kentucky for our Ladies' Tea/Meeting. We all felt the presence of the Lord in a mighty way as you ministered and flowed with the Holy Spirit. Most of the ladies there had never experienced falling under the power of the Holy Spirit, and I know each one was touched by God in a way they will never forget. You are truly an anointed vessel of God who ministers His love and compassion and healing in a profound and beautiful way. May God continue to bless and use you in incredible ways.
